My Weekend with Suh-prise

I spent this weekend with Suh-prise, Fredafer's big brother. On Friday, we went to the library and got the movie The Zookeeper. That was the best movie ever! Suh-prise laughed so hard, he turned purple(er)!

On Saturday, we made a snowman and named him (the snowman) Oatmeal, from the old Frosty the Snowman cartoon. Poor Suh-prise got squashed onto the snowball I was rolling for the snowman. We went inside, watched Christmas cartoons, and then had dinner. After dinner, we put up the Christmas tree, but the stand was broken and the tree kept tipping some.

After that - well, remember how I found Fredafer in a hole in the couch - after the tree was put up, we were all tired and I couldn't find Suh-prise. Those brothers have strange sleeping habits, that's for sure. I looked for Suh-prise and I heard small snores, like those I heard in Fredafer's hole. I followed the sound to the Christmas tree, and there, wrapped in the garland, was Suh-prise. I untangled him and put him in his bed, which was my Christmas stocking.

On Sunday, we watched more Christmas cartoons and went back outside and had a snowball fight. Then we went back inside and played the computer. That was pretty much all we did, but it was a very good weekend.

This past Thanksgiving weekend, Fredafer came home with me. On Wednesday, we went to go see The Muppets and it wasn't half bad. Freddy especially liked the part when he saw the song "We Built This City." They mentioned the word rock in it, so, of course, he was singing along. After the movie, we went home and hung out.

On Thursday, we watched the Thanksgiving Day Parade and saw really cool floats. Freddy thought he had saw a rock float and regretted not going to New York to watch the parade. Later, we drove to Iowa and saw really cool bluffs. We had food, and afterwords, Freddy took a nap from all the great food he ate. I went outside to play volleyball with my dad and then we left. On the way home, we stopped to pick up a fake Christmas tree. Freddy really liked the one that had pink lights, but my dad and brothers told him no. After we bought the tree, we went home after that and rested.

On Friday, we watched the Husker game, played outside with a football, and went over to my friend's house. When we got to my friend Claire’s house, we watched some videos on Youtube. Freddy even showed us one that he and his friends made when he lived in Colorado. It was really fun and cool to see him and his friends skipping across different lakes.

On Saturday, Freddy helped me clean the house for our Thanksgiving at home. He helped me vacuum, dust, and I had to polish the cabinent because my mom said he would scratch it. On Sunday, my grandma came over and got to meet Freddy. We had our own Thanksgiving dinner with my family, and after we ate, Freddy said it was the best food he’d ever had. Afterwards, we had dessert and watched some movies. It was the best Thanksgiving ever and I was happy to spend it with Freddy.

Friday, when I took home Fredafer, we had a lot of fun because we walked my dogs, played volleyball (though he wasn't tall enough to tip), played on the computer (he's really good at checkers), and ate a good Chinese dinner, fortune cookies included. Mine said, “You will have a surprise,”and Fredafer’s said, “You will soon meet new friends.” After dinner, we played outside some more, and then went over to my aunt’s house for a little while. While over there, I found a dollar on the floor - my cookie was right! When we got back home, my cousin came over to spend the night.

Saturday morning, it was a nice day, so Fredafer decided that we should all go to the park and walk the dogs again. While we were there, he met some new rock friends. There was Robert, Jerald, and Karina. Fredader was very embarrassed, though; he has to sit in the baby swing. But he was the king at monkey bars! So his new friends and I gave him the nickname “Monkey Bar King." Later when we got home, we ate lunch and went shopping at Kohl’s. After that, we had a movie night! It was super fun! We watched Megamind. Then we went to my aunt’s house and my cousin left. When we got back, it was pretty late, so we went to bed.

Sunday morning was pretty good. We ate breakfast, played volleyball again, and then went to a couple stores with my dad. After, we got out the “Z” and rode in it. Fredafer almost flew out the window! Later, we ate Wendy’s, went home, and played on the computer. After dinner, we read for a couple hours and then went to bed, somewhat ready for school the next morning.
