Fredafer's Spooktacular Weekend

On Friday, Fredafer and I went home. He said he wanted to play hide-n-seek, so I counted and he hid. When I went to find him, he was nowhere to be found! I soon realized he hid behind the couch pillow and had fallen asleep! Saturday, I took Freddy to dance, and he learned how to turn and leap. He even learned a dance! On Sunday, Freddy and I dressed up in our Halloween costumes and went to a Halloween party - I was a nerdy ballerina; he was a scary clown. We ate lots of candy and had so much fun! That was my weekend with Freddy :)

Fredafer, Facebook, and the Trampolines

My weekend with Fredafer was not your average weekend. I'd forgotten he was in my pencil pouch until Saturday morning, but he forgave me because he had enjoyed the comfort of the pockets. Later that same day, we went up to my dad's buddy's house. Fredafer was excited because I told him there was a trampoline there. My friend Mick seemed to enjoy our company a lot. When we were bouncing on the trampoline, Mick's sister Kelly kicked Fredafer off, and I had to jump to catch him otherwise Mick's dogs would have gotten him. After saving his life, Fredafer and I went inside and watched a little bit of football.

Later that same night, another one of my dad's buddies was having a party, so we went to that. There was a trampoline there, too, but this one had a net surrounding it. So no matter how much he got kicked around, Fredafer never fell off. Afterward we went inside, and I never would have guessed - and I'm not gonna lie - that Fredafer is a real hit with the ladies. At about 11:30, we had to go back home.

On Sunday morning, Fredafer woke up before I did, and when I woke, I found him dressed up for Mass and playing Black Ops. When we got to Church, Freddy noticed a familiar face. "Toe Mater!" he said. Afterward my grandpa took us to my mom's house. Freddy was a little bored at my house cause I was doing my homework, so he volunteered to help me out. He did my math assignment. Then we got on Facebook, and Fredafer saw even more familiar faces. He said that he wanted a Facebook, and I said, "Maybe next time." After that, we went to bed, ready for school the next day.

A Spike - Tastic Weekend With Fredafer

On Friday, I walked home with my cousin, Franchesca Williams. On the way there, Fredafer was excited about going home and getting ready for my volleyball tournament. When we got to my volleyball tournament, we checked in, and Fredafer ran to go see who was all playing volleyball. After all our Friday tournament games, we spent half the night at the hospital because my friend Maya sprained her ankle.

On Saturday, we again went to my volleyball tournament. Fredafer painted his face red to show spirit for our team. We won all of our volleyball games that day. Afterwards, we went home and got cleaned up. Then we went to a block party and watched the Nebraska game. On Sunday, we finished up the rest of our volleyball tournament. We lost :( But we still tried our best, and the best part of the weekend was that Fredafer was there with me :D

Fredafer Enjoys the Outdoors

Fredafer and I walked home on Thursday. Along the way, we saw a pile of leaves. He said he wanted to jump in them, so I let him. After that, we went home and played a little bit of Black Ops. He said he was getting tried, so we went to bed. The next morning we woke up at seven and went to the river. For the first time, Fredafer drove a Four Wheeler. We only went 5 mph, though. After an hour, we finally got on the river. Fredafer helped us set out our throw lines. Not long after we got done doing that, he looked over and said that one had a fish on it. He said it was bigger than he and his brother. Later we went to a bonfire. He said it was fun but a bit too hot. Then we went home and played PS3 again. Fredafer said he didn't do well, but he got ten kills and seven deaths.

My Weekend With Freddy!

I spent this past weekend with Fredafer. On Friday, we went to piano lessons after school. Freddy liked hearing the songs that I played for him. Later, we went back to school and saw many people. Naenae was there and Freddy got to meet her. We played football (it was actually more fun than I thought it would be), listened to music, and had fun.

On Saturday, we got up early and went to my grandpa's store. We had breakfast and got picked up to help bag bread for the Harvest Dinner. When we first started, Freddy was great at bagging bread. After a while, I thought he was slacking off until I heard a muffled scream and I knew that he had accidentally gotten trapped in one of the bread bags. Afterwards, we went to a Girl Scout meeting.

Sunday was a big day. Freddy went to the Harvest Dinner with me and we, again, saw many people. He had fun working, visiting with people - Ylrac, Shaquishia, Franchesca, Mia, and Naenae to name a few - and eating food. He had so much food that I was surprised that he was still VERY, VERY slim. We played with the other kids after the dinner was over. We played volleyball and basketball (surprisingly, I liked the volleyball, but not so much the basketball). It was a great weekend with Freddy!

Fredafer's Weekend at the Lake

Fredafer and I had a great weekend. On Friday, we went to the lake, and while we were waiting for our turn on the jet ski, we decided to skip stones. Fredafer didn't like the idea and responded, "How about we throw humans who can't swim in a lake and see how they like it." So he just turned around and played in the grass, but I skipped stones anyway. Then, I somehow ended up skipping Fredafer...thank goodness for rock-size life jackets.

A Spectacular Weekend with Freddy!

On Friday, Fredafer came home with me. It was my birthday party, so Fredafer got to come. We went to ZZZap Laser Adventures. When we got there, Fredafer was a little bit scared because it was his first time going Laser Tagging. The first game of Laser Tag, Fredafer didn’t do so well because he was really confused. After the first game, we had pizza . After Pizza, we went to go play our second game of Laser Tag. This game Fredafer got the highest score EVER! He was so excited. Then after the second game, we had cake. Fredafer almost ate the whole thing. By the time we got home, Fredafer was so tired and full that he went to bed.

When Fredafer got up on Saturday, he woke everybody up in the house. That morning we just sat around at home, and Fredafer played on the computer. Later in the day, we went to a tailgate for the the Nebraska football game! Fredafer had so much fun walking around the campus, and he got to meet one of the guys that flied the plane for the airshow. After that, we left. It was a long drive home, so Fredafer fell asleep in the car.

Sunday was a pretty boring day. Fredafer and I played outside, and he figured out the he is actually really good at softball and volleyball. Later, Fredafer said he wanted to go to bed early that night because he wanted to have a great day at school on Monday!!!

Friday, September 2

I took Fredafer to the library after school, and he even chose his own book. It was called Rocks and Minerals (like you didn't see that coming).

Saturday, September 3

We went to the flea market, Wal-Mart, and then back home. Freddy rode along in my pocket and ended up quite dizzy. Sadly, Freddy had to stay home while I went to church, so I told him to make himself comfortable. When I got home, I couldn't find Freddy anywhere! Then I noticed a small, Freddy-shaped hole in the couch. It was now obvious where Freddy was! Soft snores came from the hole. I thought to myself, "Well, I found Freddy!"

Sunday, September 4

Freddy helped me sew a pillow and helped me and my mom cook dinner.

Monday, September 5 - Labor Day

We went to Fontenelle Forest. Freddy had fun looking for other rocks to play with! When we got home, we ate cookie bars, but Freddy doesn't eat much, so I gave him what, to me, was a crumb. Boy, I had never EVER seen a crumb be eaten so messily!!! And that concluded one of the best weekends ever.

A New Year, A New Rock

His name is Fredafer, and to be honest, he made a rather inconspicuous entrance into the room that first day. He did, to a certain extent, blend in with the rest of the rocky crowd. I wouldn't chalk it up to shyness, though. He does have a definite shine to him, and his choice of colors is anything but conservative. No, I believe it is more a product of his laid-back attitude, one formed during the Colorado days of his youth.

When I asked him what brought him to the great state of Nebraska, his reply was both curt and cool, "Who...who brought me."

Desiring to know the whole story, I then asked the obvious follow-up, "Okay. Who brought you to Omaha?"

"Alfonzo Roberto."

Figuring that was enough for day one, I left it at that. But with a year's time ahead of us, somebody will eventually crack that rock open and we'll get to know a little bit more about Fredafer.

The Rocks Say Farewell

This was to be the last weekend anyone spent with DJ, so I took him and his friend Rockefeller (my rock) home. On the way home, "Rocke" - as he likes to be called - complained he was lonely. He spent ten months on a shelf in our classroom and not one student talked to him. DJ was also sad this was his last weekend. Both rocks had become good friends on the shelf and agreed to be "Facebook buddies." They wished each other a happy life and departed.

DJ's Fantabulous Weekend

On Saturday, DJ and I babysat my cousin Abby! We ate Bomb Pops and played soccer. We went shopping on Saturday afternoon for a May Crowning dress. On Sunday, we went to the May Crowning Mass. DJ sat with my brother. Then we went out for a Mother's Day breakfast. Later that night, my family went to Texas Roadhouse for Mother's Day dinner.

DJ's Final Weekend with Frankenstein

This weekend with DJ was rather fun. On Saturday, my mom, Erin, Izzy, Delenna, Kane, myself and others went to the park. We had fun. We went on this chair that spins and were really dizzy. Sunday, I pampered my mom. I woke up at 5:30 a.m. to cook my mom breakfast. I made her waffles, eggs, sausage, fresh orange juice, hash browns, and toast. It was de-lish. Then, I took my mom to the zoo. All in all, my mom and I had (and DJ as well) had a great day and a great weekend.

Six Days With DJ

I had DJ for six days because it was Easter break. On Thursday, I stayed home and worked on my memory book. DJ watched me. When I was finished, we played on my PS3. Friday, I forgot what we did exactly, but on Saturday, I spent part of the day at my friend's house. DJ didn't go with me. A couple hours after I got back home, DJ and I did go to the batting cages at Papio Fun Park. It was fun. That night, I spent the night at my aunt's. Once again, DJ did not come. Sunday, I had to serve and DJ didn't come. Then we had an Easter party at my aunt's house. Really, DJ couldn't come because he would have gotten lost in the crowd. Monday and Tuesday, we just stayed home, got on the computer, watched TV, and played the PS3.

My Weekend With DJ

DJ and I watched two movies during this break. We watched Lottery Ticket and Ramona and Beezuz. They were really good! Then on Sunday, we went to serve at mass. After that, we went to my Grandma's for Easter. We got a lot of candy. On Monday, we worked on my memory book, and on Tuesday, we slept all day because we were really tired.

DJ and Bobby - One Last Time

This weekend, DJ and I watched CD's: Seasons 1-3 of Everybody Loves Raymond. On Monday, I stayed home sick with my brother, mommy, and dog. We just laid around and were sick. Oh, and I had baseball practice that night, and it was freezing. Not the smartest decision on my part to attend since I was sick. I could've died!

The Rock's Weekend With Carmella

On Friday of this weekend, we had fish for dinner because it is Lent. Saturday we helped mom and dad clean the house for Sunday since I'd be having my Confirmation party then. Sunday was the Confirmation party itself. We had all of my family over, and my cousins and I played basketball in my backyard. Then we had cake and ice cream. It was a great weekend!:)

My weekend with the rock was boring, but at least I got to spent time with my buddy DJ. We went home, ate dinner, and played Grand Theft Auto. He's pretty good at it. Right before we went to bed, we watched Everybody Loves Raymond and Everybody Hates Chris - that's ironic. Other than that, our weekend was boring.

The Rock and I: Part III

Once again, I went to bed early on Friday. This time, though, DJ joined me. The reason - on Saturday, he and I went turkey hunting. After that, we went to mass at 5:00 P.M. Then DJ and I went to a trap meet at Papillion Gun Club. Eventually, we returned home and played in my backyard. I have to say, it was rather fun. Worn out, no doubt a result of coming down from such an intense and exciting day, DJ went to bed early that night. Being the gracious host, I joined him.

This weekend, DJ helped my mom and I clean our house for a baby shower. On Saturday, we got up early to set up drinks and snacks. First, we played games. Then, we watched April open her presents. Finally, we ate cake and relaxed. On Sunday, we stayed home and relaxed.

DJ Experiences the Madness

On Friday, DJ and I were working on homework. DJ helped me with my math. When I was done, we played Call of Duty: Black Ops on my XBox. When it was 5:00 P.M., we went to March Madness at Gross. At March Madness, we watched basketball. On Saturday, DJ and I went to March Madness at 11:30 A.M., stayed there till 10:30 PM, went home, and played COD. We did basically the same thing Sunday.

DJ's Zoo Trip

My weekend with DJ was rather fun. We went to the movies on Sunday, and on Saturday, we went to the zoo. At the zoo on Saturday, DJ thought all the animals - especially the baby animals - were really cool. He was scared of the "Kingdom of the Night." To his credit, it is really dark in there. On Sunday, we went to the movies with one of my friends. We went and saw Rango. DJ thought it was funny. Well, he laughed a lot. After that, we went to my friend's house and watched another movie.

On Friday, I had a basketball game. We won 35-32. We played awesome defense. Saturday, the basketball team went to Godfathers. One of my teammates ate pizza off the ground. After, some of us went to play basketball for fun at a gym. Sunday, we lost. The game wasn't close. The score was 53-24.

Friday night, DJ, some friends, and I went to Skate City. On Saturday, DJ and I went to a birthday at Pump It Up, and then, at night, we went to a hotel. Sunday, Carmella, DJ, and I went dress shopping, and then went to dinner. Monday was a boring day; all we did was go to the doctors.

DJ's Fun Weekend

My weekend with DJ was fun. We watched The Godfather, Tommy Boy, and SNL. DJ couldn't understand anything that was going on in The Godfather. I told him he needed to watch it a couple of times to truly understand and appreciate the movie. DJ really seemed to like Tommy Boy. He thought David Spade and Chris Farley were the perfect mix. In total, he seemed to have a good weekend.

Saturday was my sister's birthday, so we had a party. That morning, though, we went to the Spelling Bee at St. Stephen the Martyr. After that, we came home and got ready for the party. When everyone came, we played Beatles Rock Band and Just Dance 2 and visited with family. On Sunday, we went to see the Justin Bieber movie, Never Say Never, with my cousin and aunt. Then we went to the mall and Old Chicago.

DJ's Fun Weekend

On Friday, DJ and I stayed home and relaxed by watching TV and playing video games. On Saturday morning, I had a basketball game. We played St. Bernadette and DJ came too. DJ enjoyed a tasty order of nachos as I ran up and down the court for four quarters. A few hours later was the Gross dance. DJ certainly enjoyed himself there. On Sunday, we relaxed again. DJ and I had fun this weekend.

DJ's Busy Weekend

When I took DJ home, we went to Riley Faiths's house. We spent our Friday evening on the computer and wrote Mercy essays (high school entrance essays). It was an exercise in multitasking since Riley, DJ, and I went to Taco Bell while writing and we had to babysit her brother. It wasn't the easiest thing; we were up late. The next morning, we woke up early and went to Mercy to take the entrance exams.

The Rock and I: Part Two

This weekend, I went to bed at 7:00 P.M. because I was tired, but DJ stayed up. Doing what exactly? That I do not know. I assume it was pretty awesome, though, since the next morning I woke up early and he slept in. Then I went to work on some projects in my shop. DJ almost became one of them - I was considering shooting him out of a ballast or a giant crossbow I'd made. Outside of that, the rest of the weekend was blah.

My Sick Weekend With DJ

I was sick all weekend. DJ and I went on the computer and watched T.V. We watched Jersey Shore because we love to fist pump. :) We were very bored. Sunday we didn't go to Church because I was sick. Mom got us a magazine from Wal-Mart.

Dj's Christmas Wish!

Help! I'm lost and I don't know where I am. It's very scary! All I wanted for Christmas was to go home and have a family Christmas. :( I don't know how they lost me. I'm a Rock! I only wanted love. All I know is it is dark and I hear people talking all the time. If you know where I am, please save me so I can have a LATE Christmas.
